Painted Churches Tour – The Painted Churches are located in the communities of Dubina, High Hill, Praha, and Ammannsville.  They appear unassuming as you approach them, but as you enter the front doors prepare  to have your breath taken away by the incredible beauty found inside.

Janak Country Market– Located in nearby Hallettsville, Janak Country Market offers a variety of cured and fresh meats, baked goods, and home-canned pickles, okra, jams, and jellies. Check out their handmade quilts and linens and other country memorabilia.

Olle Hotel– For a taste of old Texas gentility, come stay at the Olle Hotel. Reminiscent of the days of the Cattle Baron, the Olle Hotel was built in the 1870’s to accommodate travelers coming to town by steam train. Renovated and updated for today’s travelers in 2005.
