FAQs

Here are the answers to some of our most asked questions. If you don’t see your question or answer here, write us an email or give us a call.

How big is the maze?

Our maze is 7 acres of corn planted in double rows.

How do you make the maze?

A computerized program creates the maze design. The design is then separated into several sections and plotted on grids. Each section is then marked within the actual maze. How the design is actually cut out, though, is our secret.

Will I get lost?

We hope so! After all, it is a maze. But, if you get too terribly mixed up, our “Corn Cops” will assist you in the right direction.

Do I have to pay admission if I don’t want to walk through the maze?

Yes. The admission is for the grounds. Whether you walk the maze or not is your choice.

Is the maze lighted at night?

No. You will want to bring a flashlight to help you find your way, or we have flashlights for rent and very bright glow sticks for purchase. And, speaking of light, we do have lights as the Feed Trough, pavilions, and parking lot.

How long does it take to walk the maze?

It all depends on how fast you walk! On average, it takes about 30-45 minutes to complete the maze. However, we have seen folks make it out in 15 minutes and some in 90 minutes.

Are there refunds if guests have to leave due to rain?

No. However, check at the ticket stand for rain checks if your visit was disrupted because of inclement weather.

Are you closed if it has rained?

It depends. If the paths are walkable, we will be open for business. We will have to close though if it is rainy and continues to rain.

When are reservations required to visit the maze?

All field trips are required to make reservations as are all boy/girl scout groups and will receive the field trip rate. Any other groups of 20 or more people will receive discounted admission only if reservations are made.

Is smoking allowed?

No. We are a family-oriented business and appreciate your restraint from smoking. Furthermore, we have lots of structures and areas that could easily catch fire.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own food and drinks (alcohol is prohibited) to the maze. Additionally, we do offer a variety of food and drinks at the Feed Trough for purchase.

Is the maze haunted?

Our regular 7-acre corn maze is not haunted, but we do have a separate maze that is full of ghosts and goblins. Experience the Haunted Maze every Friday and Saturday night in October beginning October 14. Admission is $5 plus regular ticket price to the maze ($12 and $14 respectively for child or adult tickets). Enter only if you dare!!!
