We are so blessed! It’s a beautiful Spring here in Lavaca county. All the wildflowers are at peak performance, vibrant and aromatic! It’s a joy to drive through the countryside and witness all of God’s glory.
We are busy getting ready for our Fall season. After the drougth last Summer and the wonderful wet Fall and Winter, we have a bumper crop of thistles, clover and native weeds! There is much mowing and cleaning to be done. It’s great to see all the green returning to our courtyard; the hard work truly pays off.
This is one of my favorite times at our farm. After working a long day, you can look out over the yard or field and see what you have accomplished. There’s real satisfaction in that!
